1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using GraceOS (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
GraceOS is a personal Life Operating System that provides:
- Goal tracking, habit building, and task management
- Journal, mood tracking, and mental wellness tools
- AI-powered companion for reflection and guidance
- Finance tracking, health vitals, and documents
- Focus timer, meditation sounds, and mind games
- Secure vault for sensitive information
GraceOS has no user accounts. You do not sign up, and your personal entries are stored on your device.
Where an AI request goes depends on how you set AI up:
- If you connect your own provider key (AI settings → "Which AI answers you"), your message goes from your device straight to the provider you chose, under your own account with them and subject to their terms
- Where no provider is connected, Grace answers from text written on the device, and nothing is sent anywhere
GraceOS operates no AI service of its own, so no AI request passes through us.
Any request that reaches a remote model needs an internet connection.
Advertising. The free plan is supported by ads: a full-screen ad when you open a module from Explore, an ad shown when the app is opened or returned to from the background, and optional rewarded ads in the games that you may choose to watch in exchange for a hint or another attempt. Watching a rewarded ad is always your choice — nothing in the App requires it, and declining costs you nothing but the hint. Ads are switched off entirely on the paid plan. Ads are served by Google AdMob; what it receives is set out in our Privacy Policy.
AI accuracy. Grace is an AI assistant and, like any AI, can be wrong. It can misstate a fact, misread what you asked, or give advice that does not fit your situation, and this applies whether Grace is answering from an on-device model or from an AI provider you connected. Do not rely on Grace for medical, legal, financial, or other decisions where being wrong matters — verify with a qualified professional or a source you trust. See section 6 for the full AI Companion terms.
Language. GraceOS ships in English and several other languages. Every language other than English is machine-assisted rather than reviewed word-for-word by a native speaker, and the in-app language picker discloses this. If a translation reads incorrectly, please tell us at the email in section 16 so it can be corrected.
3. Health & Medical Disclaimer
GraceOS is a general wellness and self-tracking app. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read or recorded in GraceOS.
In particular:
- Vitals, sleep, water, steps, weight and body measurements are the figures you entered yourself, or estimates read from your phone sensors. They are not clinical measurements and are not validated for accuracy
- Health scores, trends, weekly reports and AI insights are generated from those figures. They describe what you logged; they are not an assessment of your health
- Calorie and macronutrient figures from the food scanner are rough estimates made from a photograph, not nutritional analysis. Do not rely on them to manage a medical condition such as diabetes or kidney disease
- Medication reminders follow only the schedule you enter. GraceOS does not check doses, timing, interactions or contraindications, and a reminder that fails to arrive is not a reason to skip or repeat a dose
- Cycle and fertile-window predictions are estimates based on the cycle lengths you logged. They are not a fertility test and are not a method of contraception
- Exported CSV and PDF files contain your own logged data. Sharing one with a clinician does not make it a medical record
If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on GraceOS to get help in an emergency.
4. Subscriptions
GraceOS has two tiers, and neither of them meters Grace:
- Free: the whole app for tracking your life — journal, habits, tasks, focus, finance, health and games — plus unlimited Grace chat using your own AI provider key, and the first chapter of every AI Academy course
- Pro: every Academy chapter, spreadsheet, PDF and plain-text exports, restoring from a backup, all Grace personas and practice modes, every focus and sleep sound, themes and deeper analytics
Getting your own data out never needs a subscription: health data exports free on any plan, and a full JSON backup of everything is free after a short ad.
The chat counts that used to appear here are gone because GraceOS no longer supplies the AI. You connect your own provider, so the only limit is theirs and we neither impose nor resell one.
Pro can be bought three ways: monthly ($0.99), yearly ($7.99), or once as a lifetime purchase ($14.99). The monthly and yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions and include a 3-day free trial where Google Play offers one; you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment with nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.
Connecting your own AI provider key is free on both tiers, because your provider bills you directly for it rather than us.
Subscriptions and purchases are managed through Google Play Billing. Prices shown here are in US dollars and are indicative only — the actual price is displayed in your local currency before you confirm, and may vary by country, applicable taxes, and exchange rates.
5. Refund Policy
Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Refund requests for subscriptions and purchases are subject to Google's refund policies and procedures. Users may request a refund through Google Play, and approval is determined by Google where applicable.
6. AI Companion
- The AI companion provides general guidance and is NOT a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice
- AI responses, including responses from an on-device model, are generated by a language model and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or confidently wrong. Do not rely on AI responses for critical decisions
- Grace can propose changes to your data, such as adding a task or logging an expense. Additions happen immediately and are shown to you afterward so you can undo them; removing or changing existing data always asks for your confirmation first
- If you connect your own provider key, your relationship with that provider is directly between you and them: their terms, their pricing, and their availability apply, and we cannot control or refund what they charge you
- We do not guarantee availability of any AI service at all times
- The developer provides no guarantees of any kind regarding AI output quality, accuracy, or availability
7. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all data you enter into the App
- You must not use the App for any illegal purpose
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract API keys from the App
- You must not attempt to bypass subscription restrictions
- Your use of any AI provider you connect is also subject to that provider's terms
8. Intellectual Property
- GraceOS and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Cholaraja R P and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
- You retain ownership of all personal data you create within the App
9. Data & Privacy
- Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy
- Your entries are stored on your device. We do not have accounts, and we do not store your personal data on our servers
- We operate no AI service and no server, so no AI request reaches us at all
- Requests sent using your own provider key go to that provider under your account. What they log or retain is governed by their policy, not ours — please read it before connecting a key
- Your provider key is stored in encrypted storage on your device, is never sent to us, and is only ever sent to the provider it belongs to
- The Secrets Vault is encrypted and biometric-protected on your device, and is never included in anything sent to an AI provider
- On the free plan, serving ads sends your advertising ID, IP address and device information to Google AdMob. None of your entries — journal, mood, finance, health, notes, vault or AI conversations — are ever used to target ads or shared with an ad network. Ads are off entirely on the paid plan
- RevenueCat verifies your subscription and records which ads were shown so ad revenue can be reported. It identifies your install by an anonymous ID generated by its own software, and receives none of your entries
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The developer does not provide any guarantees regarding:
- The App being uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- AI responses being accurate, complete, or appropriate
- The App meeting your specific requirements
- Data integrity (we recommend regular exports)
- Availability of any AI provider you connect, which is outside our control
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content
- Interruptions, charges or data handling by an AI provider you connect
12. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it
- Upon termination, your local data remains on your device until you delete the App
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. AI-Generated Content in the App
The GraceOS AI Academy includes course content, chapter infographics, and visual assets that were created with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools. Specifically:
- Some course lesson text, templates, and examples were drafted or refined using AI language models and reviewed by the developer
- Chapter infographic images and course icon images were generated using AI image generation tools
- All AI-assisted content has been reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness before inclusion
- AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind
A disclosure notice is displayed within the AI Academy section of the app. By using the Academy, you acknowledge that some content was created with AI assistance.
15. Audio Content & Licensing
The Sounds library in GraceOS contains two kinds of audio:
- GraceOS Original (streaming) — 20 instrumental tracks generated by the app publisher with Google's Lyria model. This audio is original to GraceOS; the publisher generated it and does not assert any third-party ownership of it. Generated audio carries Google's SynthID watermark by design
- Embedded asset — one ambient file (temple bells) licensed under the Pixabay Content License, used inside the app as background for breathing sessions as part of a larger creative work. Pixabay's license prohibits redistributing their content on a standalone basis, so this file is never offered for download or export
Pro plan sounds are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use inside GraceOS only. You may stream them and save them offline in the app, and you may download a copy for your own personal listening. You may not resell, re-license, or redistribute the audio files themselves (for example: upload them to another music service, use them in commercial video or podcast production, or include them in a sample pack). Downloading a file does not transfer ownership of it.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of GraceOS shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Davanagere, Karnataka, India.
